4 Stars This bike is very good for smaller children
First thing to mention: My son absolutely loves this bike. It is by far his favorite toy. When we take him out on it people who have never seen a balance bike are amazed someone so small can go as fast as he does and actually balance himself.
I did quite a bit of research before ordering this bike. My main reason for ordering a Strider was the low seat height. My son is 30 inches tall so the Striders 10″ tires and small frame are perfect. I read several reviews that said the seat height is 11 inches but I measured it at 10 1/2″. My neighbor ordered a different brand bike with 12 1/2 inch tires and a 12 inch seat height for thier son who is 31 inches tall. Their son can not touch the ground flat footed and refuses to ride it. However, he’ll jump right on my son’s Strider and take off.
I agree with what others have written about the hand grips. They definately need improvement. After just two days the edge of the handgrips had torn.
I like the fact that the handle bars turn all the way (others have complained about this). It only took my son a couple of days to learn not to oversteer. He took a fall going down a hill the other day and landed forward on the handle bars. I think if the handle bar turning radius was limited he would have been speared in the torso.

4 Stars Great Bike
I bought a pink one and a blue one for my boy-girl twins about a month ago. They were 18 months old when they got the bikes. My daughter is right on the 50% mark for height and when we first got the bikes she was on her tip-toes, but luckily with-in two weeks she fit just fine. Both my kids were really cautious in the beginning, but now they are cruising. At 19 months they are picking their feet up and gliding with the bikes. Every day they ask to ride their “big bikes.” I would buy these bikes again in a heartbeat.
I do have one complaint about the grips. The first time they kids dropped them down the handlebars ripped through the end of the grips. Everything else has held up to the abuse of toddlers, I just think that the design of the handle bar grips need a little hep.
5 Stars Love love love the Strider bike.
Our son, just turned 3, loves his bike. It was so easy to put together and no problems adjusting the seat and handlebars. This bike makes outings - to the store, library, beach - so much nicer: we no longer have to walk at the snail’s pace of a 3yr old, nor do we have to put him in a stroller when he’d rather be active. It is very light as well which makes it effortless for him to pick it up when he’s fallen over.
My only complaint: I ordered it online from a 3rd party and for some reason, the red bike was about $8 more expensive. Red is my son’s favorite color, but since we are on a tight budget, he had to have a different color (blue). Why would one color be more expensive?
5 Stars Strider Bike
We purchased the Strider Bike for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. She loves “her bike” and does a great job with it. She occassionally just walks while pushing it, rather than sitting and coasting very much with it, but she is improving nearly everytime we take it out! We are pleased with our purchase and the product.
4 Stars Very Good for the price
Our two-year-old likes it and it’s short enough for him - a rarity - simple design, but fairly well made. For how quickly children at this age grow, it’s workmanship seems to be more than up to the task. It should get him through until he’s ready for a true pedal bike. Very good for it’s class.
